dia perguntei aos meus alunos quando havia sido a última vez que eles tinham recebido um cartão postal, uma carta ou até mesmo o último cartão de Natal. Para minha
surpresa, a maioria disse que nunca havia recebido um cartão postal na vida (e
olhe que é um grupo de adultos, se fossem adolescentes, eu até entenderia), que
cartas nunca haviam mandado nem recebido, e que cartões de Natal já estavam fora
de moda. Então eu me dei conta (constatação óbvia) de que realmente as pessoas já não usam o
serviço dos correios para essas coisas, me fazendo pensar que talvez eu fosse uma das últimas de minha espécie que o faça. Ainda existem, claro, os que insistem em manter a tradição. No Natal do ano passado, recebi um cartão de Meradeth, uma amiga que mora nos EUA. Lindo! Os americanos mantêm esse hábito tão admirável de mandar cartões de Natal, assim como os ingleses, às vezes super personalizados, como esse que recebi de Meradeth, em que trazia na capa uma foto sua e se seu marido. Uma coisa!</span></div>

eu era criança e meu mundo estava desabando com a separação de meus pais (ele
continuou desabando por muitos e muitos anos), eu costumava me corresponder com
uma amiga chamada Sarah. Ela morava em Itaberaba e eu em Salvador e só nos
víamos de ano em ano, quando passávamos as férias juntas em Palmeiras. Certa vez,
ela me enviou em uma de suas cartas uma foto, que guardei como um tesouro.
Era como se aquela foto em branco e preto, com o seu rosto sorrindo para mim, me fizesse esquecer de onde eu estava e me levasse às
doces lembranças de nossas férias naquela cidade tranquila, onde não existiam problemas, só brincadeiras, só sorrisos. Até hoje tenho suas cartas e me lembro especialmente do envelope azul de estrelinhas onde está guardada essa foto.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

correspondi com amigas bem especiais como Maíra, uma antiga vizinha que se mudou
para o Rio de Janeiro, e que me contava como estava sendo sua nova vida ali. Um
dia ela me escreveu, em uma dessas longas cartas que costumava enviar-me, contando-me como tinha sido
o show de Claudinho e Bochecha que tinha ido: Inesquecível. Maíra escrevia páginas e páginas. Enquanto lia suas palavras, ficava imaginando como seria sua nova vida, e me lembrava daquela garota loirinha, de olhos azuis e nariz arrebitado. Foi através das cartas que chegamos a nos conhecer melhor, muito mais do que durante os anos em que convivemos no <i>playgroud</i> de nosso prédio. Lembro-me das cartas que recebia de Priscilla, desde Recife, e das de Mércia, que vinham de Aracaju. Os amigos, as pessoas queridas não ficam para sempre em nossas vidas, mas as cartas sim, como a
presença de algo que existiu, uma prova de que as lembranças que carregamos
são reais.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

verdade é que eu amo escrever e receber cartas, e acho uma pena que as pessoas
tenham perdido o hábito, ou melhor dizendo, a paciência de
escrever. A vida hoje parece ser mais veloz, (parece não, é!), principalmente porque crescemos, já não somos os filhos de uma família, e sim os pais dela, mas também passamos demasiado tempo no computador ou olhando
nossos celulares, imersos no mundo da informação que às vezes tão pouco comunica. Escrever cartas, então, tornou-se ultrapassado. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

Mandar e-mails é grátis, mas não tem o mesmo sentimento, a mesma emoção de
abrir um envelope e ler o que está escrito. Mandei também um cartão de aniversário para minha irmã, que me disse que chorou como uma boba quando o recebeu. Acho que fiquei mais feliz que ela.</span><br />

onipresente; ele conhece tudo, está presente em todos os lugares, e a sua
decisão é a última palavra. Deus é autor de todo o poder do universo.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

questionar a justiça de Deus. Ou então podemos nos ajoelhar humildemente e
esperar que Deus se revele e que nos mostre seus propósitos para conosco.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

toda minha vida. É um livro que eu preciso ler e reler até compreender a
grandeza de Deus e aprender a ser mais humilde, não me colocando como vítima
das circunstâncias, mas confiando Nele. Há bem pouco tempo enfrentei uma
situação de frustração muito grande e pese às minhas orações, leituras e louvor,
eu tomei a decisão errada novamente: questionei a Deus. Ainda que tenha fé, tal
como Jó, eu não “vi” uma ação de Deus (Jo 35:5), mas um abandono divino. Como
eu posso ser tão arrogante ao ponto de ignorar o desacreditar o tamanho do Amor
de Deus por seus filhos?<o:p></o:p></span></div>

eu me afundo em preocupações, não durmo bem, nem consigo me concentrar em nada
mais que não seja pensar sobre o que está acontecendo. Mesmo orando e entregando
as aflições ao Pai –ou pelo menos assim ingenuamente eu penso–, não experimento
mudanças em meu interior, sigo desassossegada. E por quê? Porque eu confio desconfiando! Como eu
posso proceder assim com relação a Deus? Porque continuo permitindo que minha natureza humana tome as rédeas das situações.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

momentos eu experimento uma sensação de liberdade e felicidade que só a
confiança em Deus, através da fé, é capaz de proporcionar. A minha luta diária
tem sido essa: apenas confiar Nele constantemente. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

interior por intermédio do poder do Espírito Santo podemos experimentar a
verdadeira Paz. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

de que tenho dois caminhos a seguir: me ajoelhar e aceitar o propósito divino
para minha vida –longe de ser uma atitude conformista, mas sim humilde–, ou
seguir de pé, caminhando por conta própria, ainda que crendo em Deus. É fácil
saber qual é a resposta correta, não é? Difícil é pô-la em prática, porque
também para isso eu preciso permitir (de forma consciente) que a inspiração divina aja. </span><br />

mulheres eram mais românticas e os homens também, sempre cheios de esperança e

cinematográficas y televisivas de las obras literarias, y aunque no sea ésta la mejor
manera de conocer una obra. Como vivimos en una sociedad
extremadamente visual y muy influenciada por la tecnologia, es un placer poder ver a algunos de mis libros favoritos en la pantalla (comúnmente
la del ordenador). Las adaptaciones de la BBC son siempre las mejores, especialemente por sus personajes masculinos (Aja!). Estuve mirando desde ayer (nuevamente, otra vez) la adaptación de la obra de </span><span style="background: white;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Charlotte Brontë publicada en 1847, Jane Eyre, del
2006. Seguramente, las adaptaciones hechas para la tele, como son más extensas,
poseen más detalles sobre la obra literaria que no las que son hechas para el

Havia uma auxiliar de biblioteca que se chamava Rosana, que sempre me apresentava Às novas aquisições da Biblioteca e me fazia ótimas recomendações. Falávamos de livros, da escola e da vida. Fomos amigas durante um bom tempo, mas depois perdemos o contato. às vezes a encontrava em dias de eleição, porque votávamos no mesmo local.</span></div>

Internet mudou o relacionamento das pessoas, percebe-se hoje (ou pelo menos é o
que me parece) que o mundo reclama visibilidade. Mas veja bem, visibilidade
pessoal. Você viaja, posta, come, posta, fica noivo, posta, separa posta
também. As pessoas estão mesmo sem noção, perderam o hábito de conversar, ou
até melhor, de ocupar a cabeça com algo útil, sem ser com a vida dos outros. E
eis que o tédio pelo Facebook me alcançou! Não há nada de útil em ficar vendo a
vida dos outros, pior, em ficar vivendo a vida alheia. Eu levei tempo para
perceber isso, e eu tenho uma boa desculpa. Como moro fora do Brasil, o contato
com a minha família e amigos somente (ou na sua maior parte) é feito pelo
Facebook. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Sim, a velocidade com que as notícias são veiculadas faz
total diferença, eu sei e viva por isso, mas que por favor, sejam notícias que
acrescentem algo, não que tal cantora chorou, ou fulaninho já está com outra. E
sabe o que é pior de tudo isso? O tempo está passando rápido, muito rápido, e
estamos desperdiçando ele com coisas irrelevantes. Chato isso. Não sou contra
as redes sociais, muito pelo contrário. Há pessoas que eu só falo por esse
meio, e acho importante mesmo que elas existam. Quando eu comecei a perceber
(já há um bom tempo) a quantidade de tempo que eu perdia no Facebook eu me
assustei. Então eu resolvi me reeducar. É, precisamos de educação até para
acessar a net. É isso.</span></div>

cuidar de meu jardim, tirando as folhas secas, regando e mimando minhas flores.
Domingo é dia de ver filme com os pés entrelaçados aos dele e comer pipoca, de tomar sorvete e
passear no parque de mãos dadas, conversando trivialidades, observando o cair da
tarde sem pressa, vendo as pessoas se exercitarem em sus patins e bicicletas. E eis que o meu Domingo se transforou em um poema.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

E ela não tem saído muito de minha cabeça ultimamente. Esse "quando", diretamente relacionado com o tempo, está também ligado aos desejos, e para ser bem sincera, eu tenho uns quantos, cheios de "quandos".<br />
Para começar, eu poderia me mudar para o país dos meus sonhos. Poderia também colocar em prática tudo o que tenho aprendido na universidade e sigo aprendendo a cada dia. Quando eu vi Sayonara pela primeira vez, no meu primeiro semestre da faculdade, há uns 11 anos atrás, eu tive a certeza que eu queria ser professora universitária. Anos depois eu continuo desejando a mesma coisa, e, na verdade, nunca estive tão perto de conseguir. <br />
Há alguns dias eu recebi o resultado de uma seleção que participei para professor de literatura de uma Universidade. Eu tinha tanta certeza que a vaga seria minha... Mas não foi. O meu mundo desabou e demorou um pouco para eu recuperar os meus sentidos novamente. Eu briguei com Deus, disse uns bons desaforos a Ele, gritei, esperniei... Mas não teve muito jeito, já estava resolvido o caso. Passados os dias e refeita um pouco da desilusão, meu coração vai aos poucos recuperando a confiança, e o mais importante, a esperança. As pazes com Deus eu já fiz. Afinal de contas, Ele deve ter uma boa razão para isso, mas que com certeza eu só entenderei com o tempo.<br />
Então eu fico aqui pensando e esperando e me perguntando... Quando?<br />

Digo na minha vida, porque é minha e eu sou a maior interessada e, supostamente, a maior conhecedora, longe de ser da dos outros. Então posso dizer que não entendo muito o Cara lá de cima e essas trilhas que ele me faz tomar. Então nesses momentos de crise eu me pergunto se o que creio realmente existe ou se não passa de minha pobre imaginação humana que precisa se apegar a algo. São momentos de brigas lá com Ele e comigo mesma. Justo agorinha que estava tudo indo tão bem, quer dizer, quase bem, que nada é perfeito. E como não foi o único pega-pa-capá até agora, pela experiência sei que já já a gente faz as pazes. </span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: small; font-weight: normal;">Definitivamente não gosto de onde estou, mas sim de com quem eu estou. E muitas vezes isso faz a total e inquestionável diferença. Então eu vou aguentando e remoendo alguns sonhos, ou melhor, mantendo-os a salvo de mim mesma. Sei que Ele lá de cima me ama e me cuida, ainda que eu não O entenda, ou que insista em pôr a minha vontade diante da Dele.</span></div>

E o inglês, que ainda não sabemos, sempre pelo meio a atrapalhar. É... não sabemos tantas coisas, mas a pior delas é não sabermos aonde ir...<o:p></o:p></span></div>
